I'm making progress with the boys.....Oh, YES, I am!!!!!!!!!  Just look at Sammy and me....we're touching noses, and do quite frequently!!!!!!!!

Andy and I are getting better, but mama says we have a long way to go yet!!!!!!

Anyway, I am just thankful that I no longer have to live outside and fend for myself....so I can put up with Andy's hysterics!!!!!!!!!!  MOL!!!!!!!!

Most days things are better between Andy and me......he allows me to get really close to him now, and as long as I don't reach out to him in a playful manner, he's fine with me being close. Inch by inch, I will win him over!!!!!!!!!

Andy is nearly twice my size, but I'm definitely all tortie, cuz I'm not afraid of him, even when he gets to throwing his "hissy fits" towards me!!!!!!  :)

Mama says we're good babies cuz of the progress we're making.....of course, Sammy is king and just mostly ignores me, unless I jump on him wanting to play....then he gets all spastic and chases me off!!!!!!!!!

I soooooooooooooooooo love not being a feral anymore......I love my home and never ask to go outside........and The Boys will come around.....I just know they will!!!!!!!!

Thank you to all our friends for their prayers, purrs, woofs, well wishes and donations......you and your humans are all totally PAWSOME!!!!!!!!  Please keep remembering us, as we are far from being out of the woods.

Shelly and Andy both like to use a flip flop for a pillow......Shelly turned on her lasers to warn Andy to back off....it was her turn!!!!!

As you can see, I use my lasers a lot!!!!!  What else can a little girl do when she has 2 huge brofurs???

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

Our LB (LaurynBean) got a graduation package from our Auntie Deb and Auntie ML on Saturday....she got several scarves, a purse, and a tote bag, all of which she loved!!!!!!!

:::LB is our mama's number 4 granddaughter:::

We also got some goodies.....two of these tunnels and some other toys.  I had so much fun with the straps on this tunnel.......I haven't been inside it yet, but I sure had fun with these tie straps!!!!!!!!!!!

Clarification from yesterday and the calming collars......we can get one on Shelly, but our mama will not make it tight on her, so she works at it until she paws it off.......she's totally a tortie!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow we are hatting one of our woofy friends, but on Thursday, there will be pictures of The Boys with the tunnel and our other gifts.

I'm a typical girl.......

I love looking at, and playing with

some of LaurynBean's (LB) jewelry!!!!!

I might even wear it if she

would allow me to do so!!!!!!!!!

The other day when I was playing

with it, it somehow ended up on the

floor.....luckily my mama picked it

all up and put it back in place,

so LB never knew......

but as LB thinks I'm the greatest

kitty ever, she probably wouldn't

have been upset with me,

but one never knows!!!!!!!

Hi, sweeties.....Thursday is Cinco de Mayo, which is a BIG celebration where we live.....we will be going to Houston to celebrate with Missy, KC, Faith, Sol, BJ and Smokey....we hope y'all will mark your calendars and attend their annual party also!!!!!!!

This will be my first Cinco de Mayo party!!!!!!!!!!  Before I was a feral and was too busy trying to stay safe to worry about partying!!!!!!!!!!!

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a holiday held on May 5 that commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. It is celebrated primarily in the state of Puebla and in the United States. While Cinco de Mayo sees limited significance in Mexico itself, the date is observed nationwide mostly in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.

Cinco de Mayo is not a Mexican holiday—it is an American Civil War holiday, created spontaneously by Mexicans and Latinos living in California who supported the fragile cause of defending freedom and democracy during the first years of that bloody war between the states." Things are definitely getting better around

here....we went two or three days without

any "hissy fits" from either of the boys!!!

Then Monday  morning about 4:30 am, 
we had a confrontation.....

it upset our mama terribly,

so we will all try harder to

get along.

I just want the boys to love me!!!!!

Things are moving along at our house.

Sisterbean bought the boys and I 

some Feliway over the weekend

...it does state that it could take

four weeks to start working!!!!

Mama and the other beans are

praying it will calm us all down

and the three of us will learn to 

love each other...and that I will

not be afraid of sisterbean and

Korinnabean anymore!!!!

Tortie Tuesday - One Month Anniversary!!!!

I have lived here for exactly a month!!!!!

And my mama has hatted me in celebration

of the special day!!!!!

I have been through a lot.....it's not easy trying to find your spot with two senior fellas.....I gotta say they are handsome dudes, and I think I am slowly winning them over....I hope so anyway, cuz I really do love it here and am soooooooooo happy I'm not living outside anymore!!!!!!

The humans are all so nice to me....and I especially love mama and LaurynBean.

Mama calls me Shelly Belle..........

Lauryn calls me Shella Bella........

Korinna calls me Shell Shell........

Traci calls me Shelly Belly.........

If they didn't love me a lot, I don't think they'd have special nicknames for me already, do you???????

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
We have been having some major problems with our
Google Reader for several days.

It will only show us posts for the past four hours.....
thus we don't know who else on our list has posted
on said day.  We feel this is an outrage....anyone else
having the same problem????

Does anyone know if we can change this in our settings?????

I love my new home and have settled in nicely.....

it's The Boys that are having problems adjusting.

I just want to play with them and they get all

spastic.....mama says it's cuz they are senior

kitties and I'm still a kitten.
