Wednesday with Sir Andy

Someone said in a comment from Monday that I need to milk all the attention I'm getting.  Well get this ... TraciBean took the chair from MamaBeans room and put it in her's.  I used to love laying in this chair, but when it got put into MamaBug's room I didn't get to lay in it as much ..... you all know mine and Shelly's relationship.  The beans say she just wants to play, but I'm still very cautious. 

Anyway, here are some pictures of me in my new throne ..... Oh yeah and I have now been given the name Sir Andy .... since I'm the only ManCat in the house!!!  I like it!!!!

I love my new throne and my new title .... hope you do too.

This wasn't our original post for Wednesday (so tune in on Friday for a special post) .... Also our blog will be under going some construction.  Please bear with TraciBug as she learns how to make graphics.

Saturday Sadness

I don't know why things happen the way they do  ... but we are all very sad to report that our Dear Sweet Sammy has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. 

 He has been loosing weight for several months now and was drinking water almost non stop and quit grooming himself (which is why there has been less and less photos of him).  The last few months him and MamaBug spent many a days snuggled together ... I think he was just holding on for her.  

MamaBug does know about Dear Sweet Sammy and is very sad, but did say "He lived a long, full and happy life". 

So looks like Andy is now the ManCat of the house!!

Andy is Quilting!!!!!

Andy has been helping our LaurynBean....she's making a quilt and Andy knows she needs his expertise snoopervision!!!!!!!!!

Saga of a Mancat and a Tortie

The Saga of Andy and Shelly continues. Things were starting to relax between the two of them, until Shelly felt the need to show him how much she loved him!!!!

She pounced on him....in a playful manner.....and gave him a love bitey, which tore a piece out of his ear!!!!!!!

You can see how his ear has been "remodeled"

So we are back to square one and he won't tolerate her at all......our loving Andy that has always been so mellow chases Shelly off if she gets anywhere near him!!!!!!!!

Please purr that they will come to love each other.

Mancat Monday - Best Buds

This magazine cover got me to reminiscing about where our friendship started.

I first saw Andy when he was even smaller than this. I was so curious about him from the beginning, but for a while they kept a really close eye on us. Once they realized we were going to be best buds, they relaxed and let me help raise the little mite.....I did a good job, huh?????

We were over at Zoolatry this morning and look what we found!!!!
Andy is quite excited that he was one of the "maskees" today!!!
