The Saga of Andy and Shelly continues. Things were starting to relax between the two of them, until Shelly felt the need to show him how much she loved him!!!!
She pounced on him....in a playful manner.....and gave him a love bitey, which tore a piece out of his ear!!!!!!!
You can see how his ear has been "remodeled"
So we are back to square one and he won't tolerate her at all......our loving Andy that has always been so mellow chases Shelly off if she gets anywhere near him!!!!!!!!
Please purr that they will come to love each other.

I am SO sorry. I really am. I just hate that they can't get along and that Shelly..(I finally have to admit it IS her behavior) just can't stop those behaviors that cause so much problem.
Shelly..please..calm down, sweetheart. Your brothers are seniors and they don't feel like tussling.

Oh no! We are sorry that happened! Have you considered a calming collar? We know of a few friends' cats who have tried them with decent results. They are sort of like a Feliway collar.

WE miss you guys. Mom does not prefer FB, she just has no time. Work is unbearably busy and she also helps with a rescue group helping find kitties homes. So, needless to say, there is no time. Mom wants to retire big time, but that won't happen for a long time.
How cool that your mom has some Sweetzerland background too! Mom's mom is from there near the Bern area, and she visited an aunt there.
So, sorry for the infrequent visits. We definitely miss blogging, but there is just no time now for mom. :-(

Andy is too manly for a piereced ear so I expect that was his main complaint.
We'll purr it gets better but I can 100% say I would probably be the same way.

I know exactly what you're all going through! Just when I think we've made progress, Annie bats at the toy while Lucy is playing with it and Lucy gets soooo mad! Actually, it's almost comical. However, I know how upsetting it is. Poor Andy! Shelly is just too young and rambunctious for the seniors. We are really hoping this blows over.

I have a notch like that taken out of my ear. IT took Mom a few days to see it, but she knows probably Boo or Gracie did it. I am always mewing at them and they don't like it. Someone took a swipe at me and well took that chunk out of my ear. It hasn't slowed me down though. WE do hope that Andy will find it in his heart to forgive and forget.
