We were thinking of postponing this weekend's get together on The Island, but we decided the warm air and sunshine would do mamabug a lotta good. So we brought her along and she's soaking up the sunshine

Andy: After a rough start to the day, I think you might be right....at least she's not trying to cough up her toenails any longer!!!!!

Sam: Yeah, where would we have found new toenails for her???

Andy: I'm happy we didn't have to figure it out. And I'm happy to see she's posting something....and even happier that she took us to many of our friends blogs to see what was going on.....even if she was too lazy to leave any comments for us....:(

Mamabug: I want to thank you all for your purrs and well wishes....they are helping. I am better, but still pretty puny. I am going to try to get back to blogging for the boys. I haven't had the flu for years and years, so guess I had to have a really strong dose of it to make up for lost time....sigh.........

Furday Furiends

This week The Kbean (youngest grandbean) drew the name of our furiends from up I-35 a ways to visit us on The Island.....we had to do a close-up of the beach instead of the whole island to make room for all of them though!!!!! :)

We welcome The Kitty Krew......Bugsy, Gypsy, Pixie, Roxy, Sassy, Ziggy...and their angel Callie, who went to the Bridge last month. If you don't know them, please visit their blog.

Bugsy got a good report from his Cancer Vet this week, so we really have a reason for a great celebration!!!!!!! Way to go Bugsy!!!!!!

Andy's Latest Hidey-Hole

We're not having the cold and snow many of you are, but our rain and sleet can really chill us to the bone....Andy found a purrfect solution yesterday....at our house he is known as the King of Hidey-Holes!!!! Mamabug saw a lump under this comforter and peeled it back just a bit and there he was!!!! So she quick grabbed the camera before she covered him up again.

Wordy Wednesday - Sammy's Story

Andy's baby pictures get shown a lot, and granted he was (and still is) one mighty adorable fella. Mamabug doesn't have many pictures of me and what she has were on snapshots so she took pictures of them with her digital cam so she could get them on the computer. They aren't very good, but you have to remember they were also taken 12 years ago, and I said no matter how bad they are, I want to share them with my friends.

This is the first time mamabug and I laid eyes on each other!!!! I was being raised with two of these puppies in Alamogordo, New Mexico, and as some of you know, I had been named Puppy!!!!!!! Mamabug immediately fell in love with me and started a campaign to adopt me so she could take me back to Texas with her.


This is the day I arrived at my new forever home in Texas. You can see I was practicing my laser eyes!!!!!!


At the time, this was the youngest grandbean, Lauryn....she's 16 now and I'm 12......things have changed a bit, but we still love each other!!!! :)

Togetherness Tuesday

Andy and I have always spent most of our time together. You see, when he showed up at our place back in 2000 he was about a week old and totally helpless. Mamabug and I saved his life and raised him. This was then.....a week or two after mamabug rescued him from the side of a busy street.



And here are a couple of shots of us together on mamabug's bed this morning......we nap while she does our blogging for us...... :)

Sleepy Sunday

We have to "own up" about yesterday's post......we kept looking at all those sports items, and decided we really weren't that into sports anyway, so went and took a nap!!!!

The sisterbean and grandbeans are going to a Super Bowl Party today. Mamabug and "her boys" plan to snuggle up on the bed where she will watch some oldies but goodies (movies) and we will sleep!!! As you can see, Sammy is yawning already!!!! We purray that y'all have a most wonderful day.

YAY!!!!!!!!! What fun!!!!!!! Samson and Delilah from The Monkeys flew in this morning. We were so very pleased to see that they brought that cute little Sweet Pea with them!!!! Samson and Delilah were among the very first CB'ers that we met, and we have enjoyed their blog so very much. If you've never met them, please stop by and tell them "howdy."

A Gift for Skeeter, and Happy Birthday Tamir

Andy has been missing his gurl, Skeeter, big time. He went out shopping and got this for her. He's hoping to get to see her over at Tamir's party.

JROTC Military Ball with her friend, Joe,
and I can't believe they didn't take me!!!!!
I'm gonna hang out here for a bit hoping
they will remember they left me home
and come back to get me!!!!!

forgive her for leaving me behind, cuz
I loved the fact that she wore her cowboy
boots under her dress!!!!! But I think I'll
make her suffer a bit first......:))))

Mancat Monday - Half Butterfly Lip Dudes

A few weeks ago while visiting blogs, Andy ran across a look-a-like. This is Luigi from Noll's Nip. They are now calling themselves the Half Butterfly Lip Dudes...they wanted to call themselves the Half Butterfly Lip Gang, but can two be considered a gang???? Anyone else out there that has a half butterfly on their lip???? It has to resemble a butterfly's wing. We could possibly get a gang together yet. And to make sure there isn't any confusion, you don't have to be a mancat to be part of the gang.
