Left Behind!!!!!!

Here's what Happened:
Lauryn, the older grandbean, went to the
JROTC Military Ball with her friend, Joe,
and I can't believe they didn't take me!!!!!
I'm gonna hang out here for a bit hoping
they will remember they left me home
and come back to get me!!!!!



Didn't she look beautiful??????? I'll
forgive her for leaving me behind, cuz
I loved the fact that she wore her cowboy
boots under her dress!!!!! But I think I'll
make her suffer a bit first......:))))

dreading turning a year older, but
what fun!!!!

Our Grandbean

Please indulge us today........This is the older grandbean, who we think is the cats' meow. She is in her high school's AFJROTC (Air Force Junior Reserved Officers' Training Corps) and is on the varsity unarmed drill team and also the color guard. The unarmed drill team is named Silver Valor.



They have competitions with various high schools in San Antonio and South Texas. This past Saturday they traveled about three hours by bus to Flour Bluff High School in Corpus Christi to participate in a drill meet.






They are judged in various competitions and we find it all very confusing. So we always just want to know how they come in overall. They usually do well and they were quite pleased that their high school took 2nd place overall in this meet. :)

The color guard....that's our bean carrying the Texas flag :)
