Getting in touch with Rosemary of Miles & Pierro to ask her about making some more of the cute, cool quilt mats that she sent to MamaBug

 Reminded me of the quilt that MamaBug did

I was so excited about showing off another one of her talents that I went and took pictures and got the post set up.

Well then I remembered the search feature on the blog .... and what do you think I found???  Yup, MamaBug had already shared Mamas Memories Bargello Quilt.

Instead of deleting the post, I decided to go ahead and post it any way.

Oh and we almost forgot yet again!!!!  Yesterday, June 22, 2012 was our LaurynBug's 19th Birthday!!

Picture was taken last weekend during our trip to Austin, TX to visit a cousin of ours.  This is the Oasis on Travis Lake.

MamaBug I know would have made a a special post for her .... I just didn't get any graphics done.

Busy Weekend

It's going to be a busy weekend in Blogville.......

Today starts the Labor of Love (Sept 2-5) in honor of  the wonderful ML, who keeps the CB blog site running......it is truly a labor of love on her part.  We love you, ML, and we are so thankful for you.

We are hosting The Bug House in the Back to School Blogville Bash..September 3, 4, and 5, and the "bugs" (including creepy crawly things...but NO snakes) will be featured on Saturday and Sunday, so we hope you will visit both days to see all these wonderful entries....some may be a bit surprising....but there are definitely no snakes!!!!!!!       :)










Today is the adorable MoMo's birthday, so we purr you will stop by and wish her a Happy Birthday.....we love MoMo.

Andy is 11 Today!!!!!!!!!!

Yay!!!!!!!!! It's my 11th birthday today!!!!!!! Thank you for stopping by to help me celebrate!!!!!!!!! Our friends and neighbors have been cooking up a storm.....hope you like Texas BBQ and Tex-Mex...cuz we do live in San Antonio!!!!!!!!!

Mama says she just has to post some of my baby pictures again and tell you that she found me on the shoulder of a busy street in Mesa, Arizona, when I was even smaller than these pictures.

 She fed me with an eyedropper until I was able to suckle from a dolls  bottle.  The vet said I was only about 7 to 10 days old when she found me.  It will always be a mystery as to how I came to be there, all alone, at that particular time, but I'm so happy I was, cuz I couldn't have a better home!!!!!!!


And now Andy has to share a blast from the past.....this was last year when his sweet Skeeter popped out of a cake for him.  We all know that Skeeter is celebrating Andy's birthday at the Rainbow Bridge today.  We all love you and miss you Skeeter, but especially Andy.

When our mama lived on the east side of San Antonio, she ate at Texas Pride on a regular basis.....and it is the best BBQ place in her mind.   Guy Fieri from Roadshow thought it was a mighty fine place, too, when he visited it and featured it on his program.

They are catering for us today, and we have taken over their party room and their outdoor party area......here is some of what is in store for y'all........

and there are lotza surprises for kitties, woofies and their humans........Enjoy!!!!!!!!!
