ManCat Monday with Sir Andy .... News, News and More News

Hi!  We got a package from Auntie ML & Deb this week.  Sorry that we don't have  pictures of MamaBug opening it, but TraciBug forgot the camera and her phone.

They did remember, after it was opened and about to leave, that KorinnaBug had her phone .... so they were able to take a picutre of a special gift for MamaBug.

 We didn't get any pictures of MamaBug, she was having an off day.

We are happy to report that they have prescribed a mouth rinse for her to use for her teeth ... and so far it's working.  Her pain has increased a little more so her Morphine has been increased.  Each time she has more pain her Morphine is increased to control the pain.  

MamaBug did get some bad news ... her Nurse, who she totally loves, is leaving.  She is going back to Houston to be with her mother who is very ill.

There were a few toys and treats for us kitties ......

Now for some news on TraciBug.  On a whim she applied for a position at a law firm,  this was late on Wednesday, July 3rd ---  Thursday, July 5th at about 8:20ish am she received a call asking her to come in for an interview on Friday morning.  She accepted the interview of course.  By 1pm Friday afternoon they called to offer her a position and of course she accepted.

TraciBug is very, very, very excited -- they have offered her $3 more an hr than what she is currently making.  After 90 days she will be eligable for benefits, and the health insurance for employees is paid by the firm.  Her position will be taking incoming calls from possible clients, interviewing them and determining if it a case the firm would take.  Eventually, she will be moved into a legal assistant position --- as this is what they do with all new hires, they believe in promoting from within.  This is for a rather large Personal Injury Law Firm ... very well known in Texas ... so she is confident that what she was told in the interview is true.

The only thing that she wasn't to crazy about was that she will have to work 10-7.  This is the shift that everyone starting out works ... and as they hire more people her schedule will change.

So thanks for all the prayers, we appreciate them!!!

Well our Spurs went belly up on Saturday, the series is now 2-2 and they play again tonight!  Let's hope for a win!  TraciBug wasn't able to get some pictures, she said it's hard to drive and take pictures at the same time.

I thought I'd go belly up too .... this is the first time I have shown off my belly since it was shaved

Wow!!  I'm not to sure about being the ManCat of the house ..... I sure do miss my brother.  TraciBean has been giving me extra love and she even carries me to her bed at night ... I'm kind of liking this extra attention. 

We thought you all might like to see the pictures of me when I was little, when Sammy took care of me!!!

Update on our MamaBug -- she moved to a Rehab Facility last Monday.  Her meds are regulated and she is doing much better.  She still has periods of confusion, but nothing like it was weeks before.  Early Wed morning she got out of bed alone to try and fix her sheets and lost her balance and fell.  She is ok, but her tail bone is now sore.  She told her nurse that she had learned her lesson. :o)  She misses her cats like crazy and has been told that she does get 72 hrs to come home and visit.  I'm not sure how she's going to get up the stairs, but she is bound and determined to get up them.  She did tell me she would crawl up the stairs to see her babies. :o)

We hope you will check back the next couple of days .... we will be doing a different type of blog (content wise ... we need a little change in content for a few days .... it will be enjoyable)

Happy Monday to all!!  Hope all you Mom's had a Happy Mother's Day yesterday!!!

Not much new with me ... It has gotten quieter around here, but I'm doing ok.  TraciBug and I have had several nice petting session .... I love when she scratches under my chin ..... 

My owie is healing nicely ... it looks a little red in this picture, but it really isn't ......

TraciBean has been trying to get me to show my belly and I won't ... so this picture will have to due for now

TraciBug really appreciates all the encouraging comments about MamaBug and the Blog!  

There will be some pictures soon of Mother's Day with MamaBug.

With all these new furrrriends around I had to go hide in the closet. 

Here are some updates!

MamaBug is doing ok, she has some good days and some bad days.  Yesterday MamaBug got to visit with her Mom, Sister and Nephew.  We also had a cousin from Austin, TX that came and visited it was really a nice day!

The Beans had to do laundry this weekend and we are happy to report that Shadow got used to TraciBug going out on the balcony.  She hissed and growled the first time, but once she saw that TraciBug was not going to hurt her babies she calmed down.  Shadow was caught sleeping in the box the beans put out for her ... Yayyy!!  The Beans bought some replacement milk for the kittens ... Yoshi (the multicolored kitten) is trying to eat the adult cat food!

Hope everyone has a GREAT Monday ... I'm off to go hide in the closet!

We got a "care package" in the mail a couple weeks ago.....from our Auntie Deb and the Taylor CatSSSSS.  She sent us kitties lotza nom noms and this red cube!!!!

And mama says that I must remember to mention that her and the girls got some "Taylor Made Peach Preserves."  Thank you, thank you, thank you, Auntie Deb and Sam, Seaborne (Bubba), Sassy, Spats and Summer for all the goodies.  We love y'all.

Mama is still having a major battle with this bite....it just doesn't want to heal.  She will be going back to the doctor this week.......please don't forget us!!!!!!
