Fun Friday with Shelly

Yayyyy!!  It's my day to post!!  I miss my Mama, but I'm really getting used to things the way they are now.  

I've left my comfortable resting place in Mama's closet and spend a lot more time out in the living room.  As you can see from the pictures below, I have found a chair in the living room to lay on.  I figure if Andy can have one so can I.

Friday with Sierra

 I'm so glad to be home ..... I'm so tired.

 I was a bad kitty Wednesday night and snuck out the door when Lauryn Bug came home.  I spent part of the night outside.  TraciBug heard me meowing at the front door about 7:00ish Thursday morning.  I dashed right in when she opened the door.  

I'm trying to forget my ordeal ..... TraciBug says that I'm one lucky girl because I wasn't harmed. 

I still want to go out the front door when it opens!!  

I'm off to nap!!  Happy Friday to all!!!

Freaky Friday with Shadow and the Kittens

Project Balcony Clean Up 

We aren't sure what all the fuss was about, we were perfectly happy, but one of the beans came out and started gathering up all the leaves and stuff that was on the balcony and moved stuff around.  Most of the time we were busy playing at the other end of the balcony and one us did have to hide.  Mama ended up leaving, but came back when the bean was finished .... as you will see from the bottom pictures we are A-Ok and getting used to the changes. 

Oh and there was a question asked in yesterdays comments how Shadow leaves and comes back ... explanation and pictures are provided below

The washer and dryer are on the balcony and there is not a patio covering or awning.  A few of the neighbors have tarps attached to the end of the roof and then secured the other end to the balcony railing (boards).  We went one stop further and built a frame so that laundry could be done while it was raining.

The tarp is going to need to be replaced very soon, there are now a lot of little claw holes.

Friskey Friday with Shadow and the Kittens

Play time

Now that you have enjoyed some pictures of us ...... time for an update.  

The Beans have tried giving us something that is called replacement milk ... the very first time Mama drank it all, but left a tiny little bit for York (grey kitten).  Since then the Beans have put replacement milk out several times and Mama and York are the only ones who get any. 

The Beans have put out a litter box, but as you can see from the pictures above, Yale (black kitten) and Yoshie (multi colored kitten) think it's just another place to play. 

We are still afraid of the beans when they come out onto the balcony .... Mama always growls, but we noticed that she doesn't hiss any more.  One day when Mama was gone one of the Beans brought us a bowl of something, the Bean got really close to us and we all three hissed.

The Beans like to sit at the sliding glass door and watch us .... they stick their fingers out and try to get us to come play with them ..... we don't fall for that, most of the time we are busy playing with Mama's tail.
