It's Thursday!!!

Hi!  Sorry to be gone for so long.  Things have been a little hectic around here now that the girls are out of school for the summer!  I will try and do a better job of updating the blog. 

MamaBug is doing ok.  Her pain is increasing, so they have been increasing her Morphine.  She is having a terrible time with her cell phone, sometimes she doesn't get it plugged into charge and other times she just forgets how to use it. :o(  I will be checking into getting her  a land line ... I think that will be much easier for her to use. 

My job is going well.  The original project I was hired for ended last Friday.  The ladies that were on the project won't be returning until July 9th for the next training class ... so I am thanking God that I was moved to the different project. I've gotten things caught up, thank you so much for all the donations.  As always once I get caught up something else happens ... I have a $700 bill from the facility of charges that I have to pay.  They aren't covered by Hospice or Medicaid ... but I am going to talk to hospice about these charges, I just don't see how it's fair that I'm responsible for these charges as they are mostly evaluations.  

I don't have any recent pictures of the kittys ... but will share some older ones. 

Sir Andy is doing well, he's just trying to stay one step ahead of the girls.

 Shelly isn't hanging out in her hiding space in the closet as much.  She spends time out in the living room and even sleeps with me on the bed.

Sierra is still as squirrley as ever ... she goes non stop and is still dashing out the front door, but she dashes right back in.  She has also started dashing out on the back balcony ... so far she hasn't ran into MamaCat who stops by every now and again.

Silly Sierra

It's a lazy Thursday ... today is KorinnaBug's last day of school .... I'm told that means she will be around a lot more to play with me!!

TraciBug said something about us having a "unit inspection" on Friday.  She told Shelly to be sure to hide in her favorite hidding spot the whole day (like she normally does) and told Sir Andy and me to cross our paws that they aren't looking for cats.

Thrilling Thursday with the Kittens

While MamaCat's away, we kittens will play!!

We've learned to climb, well two of us have (York and Yoshi).  

We figured out how to climb up onto the plant stand (an old computer desk), no biggie, BUT the Beans were saying that we are on a 2nd floor balcony -- if we would jump on the boards there to the left we could fall off.

Uh Oh

How the heck did they get up there!?

Uh Oh, Mom's back ... I better get down .....  

Hmmmm .... which way is down ..... 

I don't think this is the way down ..... 

Shadow's reaction to a bean coming to the rescue of her kitten ......

That's what Yoshi gets for going off and leaving me ..... 

I found my way down and it's time to play ..... 

TraciBug did rescue Yoshi and no beans, cats or kittens where hurt!  TraciBean did say that Yoshi was rather a plump little kitty.

An update on MamaCat, Shadow and the kittens. 

They are doing great!  They are very used to us Beans coming out on the balcony .. for the most part Yale and York stay put while Yoshi runs off and hides.  TraciBug and KorinnaBug have pet all three of the kittens now.  They are all four using the litter box that the Beans put on the balcony.  

Shadow, still hisses and growls at times.  TraciBug feeds her a few treats through the door and when she gets close enough tries to touch her .... this hasn't been successful as Shadow always starts growling and hissing and jumps backwards.  While TraciBug was rescuing Yoshi, she did manage to pet Shadow's tail ... not once but twice ... it's a start!  

We did move the plant stand and that doesn't make Shadow very happy as she has lost her hidey hole.  TraciBug is going to clean the balcony off .... cause we found a place where the kittens were going to the bathroom, before the litter box was put out, and then put the plant stand in the other corner ... which will be on the same wall as the sliding glass door.  Hopefully we have built enough trust that we will be able to go out on the balcony and take pictures.

Good Morning Bloggers

This is how Sierra and I spend most of our days ...... 

She flops down in front of me and I start batting and growling at her ..... 

 I try to walk away and she swats at my tail .....

Ok, I think I can make a break for it now ...... 

Didn't get away ...... 

She is just waiting for me to make a move ...... 

and she followed me to behind the couch when I did make my move .... 

I'm not to sure what she wants, part of me wants to play, but part of me is still very careful!!!

Oh, there was a question from yesterday's post about the kittens names:  Yoshi is the multi colored one, Yale is the black one, who is also sometimes called Sammy, Jr and York is they grey one.

Toes and Tail Thursday

Andy wants to clarify yesterday's foto. He wants everyone to know that the teddy bear belongs to mamabug!!!!! He didn't have Skeeter here to snuggle up with, and he was cold, so he crawled under the quilt and cuddled up against the teddy. :)
