SASS was originally started by Mama/JudiBug with two senior Texas dudes (Sammy and Andy) and later added two young sisfurs (Shelly and Sierra). Sammy ran off to the Bridge in May of 2012 and Andy April 2013. Our dear, sweet Mama/JudiBug passed in November of 2012, after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. TraciBug is now attempting to keep the blog going. Polli and Boston were added to the family in the summer of 2013.
There have been several times in the past weeks that our plants have had to be brought inside because they were predicting a freeze. Some of you will remember the first time the plants came in, a couple butterflies came in with them. .....and here we are on a butterfly hunt!!!! We are regressing because mamabug just got these new pics from the sisterbean.

The only hunting we get to do in our house is...moth, spiders, and ladybugs. You are both so entranced by what'ss up there! Go Get 'Em Boys!!!

Sometimes a moth will come in with the firewood & then we have a hunting party. They taste good too! xoxo
Butterflies inside!! How wonderful. We never chase anything more exciting that a ant or a little moth!

We love butterflies.....it will be weeks before we see them again (=^Y^=)
We know it is so much warmer at your house than ours, but we, too are expecting a freeze. Kirby brought in an earth worm last week in the rain. Dad did not get a picture of it though!
Butterflies are fun. We like chasing them when they get in the greenhouse.
Can't wait for butterfly season when it gets warmer... getting my strength up, need a nap, purrrssss Brandy.
What fun! Gotta keep those hunting skills sharp!

Hey, butterflies are almost like moths, but more interesting. My kitties love both!
