Every spring Texas has the most beautiful wild flowers and we don't miss the opportunity to go out and take pictures in them. Enjoy the pictures of our road trip.
Our first stop was to get some nourishment for all the picture posing we would do at delicious Texas Pride BBQ in Adkins, TX.
Now on to the main attraction .... the Wild Flowers.
Our first stop was across the Highway from Texas Pride.
KorinnaBug had woken up with a sore throat on this day and wasn't her usual bubbly self. Later that evening we found out she had strep throat.
Yes, this is what us crazy Texans do when the Blue Bonnet / Wild Flowers bloom .... we jump in our vehicles and search them out to take pictures in them!
They are so beautiful.
Indian Paint Brush are the redish looking flowers and the Blue Bonnets are the blue ones.

Our third and final stop was in LaVernia, TX
Blue Bonnets + CowGirl boots = Texas Girls ..... hehe, I think TraciBug needs to get a pair of CowGirl Boots!
