Andy's Spa Visit

I got to go to the Spa!!  They say I was a very good boy!  

I wasn't to sure about coming out of my carrier

Once out I was greeted by this really nice Bean .... she put me on this plastic thingie ......

She said I weighed 14lbs ... and then she took my temperature... I didn't like that but she said it was normal. 

I then got to check the place out ... of course I was looking for a hidey hole 

Then another Bean came in and looked me over ... I guess it was the Doc, (as the Beans called her) she said my wound did not look like a bite or claw wound but more like I scrapped it on something.  

Both of the SpaBeans left again, and I got to check the place out some more ..... 

.

It started to get a little noisey, guess they had an emergency come in ... that's when I started to get a little worked up .... I just had to find a hidey hole ... and I did ... but we will save those pictures for another day. 

The SpaBeans then came back in and took me away.  They shaved my wound area, cleaned it out and gave me an antibiotic shot that will last 2 weeks (that way TraciBean doesn't have to chase me down to give me medicine everyday) ..... they also shaved my tummy.  My long hair gets matted and the Beans try to keep me brushed and cut the matted hair off .... but you all know how I LOVE my hidey holes. 

The beans have to clean my wound two times a day, I'm not supposed to lick it, if I do the SpaBean said I'd need a collar ... whatever that is!!

I'm just so glad to be home!!!

When It Rains It Pours

We thought Andy's owie was healing, since he quit hissing when we would get close to touching the area.  Tonight, after he came out of his hidey hole, we were able to push the hair back and take a look at it.  We were not at all happy with what we saw .... we do have pictures below .. but if you are squimish to the tummy you may want to scroll quickly (it will be the last picture)!

In addition to the cancer our MamaBug is dealing with we now have to figure out a way to get Andy to the Vet and get him looked at. 

Don't think we have mentioned that TraciBug is no longer working, her personal medical leave was denied and her job let her go.  The good thing is she already has two jobs lined up -- she just has to decide which one to take.  One starts on May 14th and the other doesn't have a start date yet -- please be in prayer.
