Friday Flashbacks - Angel Sunshine

Mama was going through some old photos the other day from the 1980's. She got so excited over some of the kitty pictures she found that we told her we'd like her to have Flashback Fridays for some of these kitties that she loved so much.

This is Sunshine ~ who appears in our sidebar in angel form ~ The pictures aren't very good cuz they were taken so many years ago. The collage can be clicked on to enlarge it.

Could her and Andy be related???????

If is difficult to get really good pictures of Sammy. He often turns out to be nothing but a "black hole" because he almost always closes his eyes due to dislike of the flash. In order for him to get his time on our blog, we recycle some of his pics. :)

We welcome Angel Sunshine to our blog. Over the years our mama has had many, many, many kitties and puppies. For 23 years she lived in a housing development outside the city limits, and it seemed to be a favorite dumping area for unwanted dogs and cats. Many of them found mama, or mama found them and cared for them. A nearby vet donated his time, efforts and supplies to neuter all these darlings. We want to get vsquillion angels for the ones we hear mama talk about the most.

Sunshine was a white kitty with black spots......somewhat like Andy, except she had short hair and a few more black spots. She was really a love and a joy, thus the name Sunshine. When mama would go to bed at night, Sunshine would jump up on the bed, step up on mama's chest and drop this little ball that she had in her mouth. That was the signal for mama to throw the ball out the bedroom door so it would bounce down the hall.....with Sunshine in hot pursuit behind it. She would pick it up in her mouth and return to mama and the game would continue until Sunshine got tired. Then her and her ball would curl up beside mama and go to sleep!!!!!

We wish we could have known Sunshine....
we know we would have loved her, too.
