Oh hello ... I was just taking a nap now that it's nice and quiet around here. The Bean Kiddos have gone back to school.
Both of the Bean girls had good days.
Korinna Bean is now in 7th grade ... and yes, poor Korinna has to wear uniforms to school .... Khaki pants and a Red, White or Blue polo shirt.
She said she had an awesome day ... her two favorite teachers are Mr & Mrs Navarro. Mr. N teaches reading and Mrs. N teaches English ... yes, they are married. When asked who her least favorite teacher was ...she said she didn't have one (I've heard there is always one teacher).
Korinna was a bit upset that she didn't get her elective this year, Choir. Korinna has some learning challenges and has to have an extra Math and Reading class to help her prepare for the standardizing testing Texas does ..... I had to say that quietly otherwise TraciBean might hear and get on her soap box again. LOL
LaurynBean started her 2nd year of college, but this year transferred to the Community College here.
Lauryn bug had a good first day considering she had a few challenges to over come. The college enrolled her to one of the satellite campuses that does not get financial aid. When she was at admissions to get it corrected they had told her she may not be able to attend this semester .... We are so glad the admissions office didn't know what they were talking about ... financial aid office was able to push her money through. She will have to wait about a week before she will get the rest of her money and be able to purchase her books.
MamaBug is still hanging in there. Really no change.
Shadow still hasn't returned the kittens. We leave water and food for her, but not as much food as she would like. Hopefully she will return them soon.
The Beans had quit an adventure in the kitchen last night. The fridge went out at some point over the weekend, TraciBean was saying how thankful she was that someone else had to buy the refrigerator .... but was very upset that everything in the fridge and freezer went bad ... she had just gone grocery shopping on Friday :o( she told the Bean Girls that they would be eating a lot of Ramen noodles for the next couple of weeks. :o)
Well I must get back to my nap.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!
XOXOXOXO,
Sierra

We hope the beans do well in school--I'm sure they will! The uniform doesn't sound that bad. At least she can wear pants. :-)

That's too bad about the refrigerator and the food getting spoiled... although as long as you kitties don't have to eat ramen noodles, all is not lost!
