SASS was originally started by Mama/JudiBug with two senior Texas dudes (Sammy and Andy) and later added two young sisfurs (Shelly and Sierra). Sammy ran off to the Bridge in May of 2012 and Andy April 2013. Our dear, sweet Mama/JudiBug passed in November of 2012, after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. TraciBug is now attempting to keep the blog going. Polli and Boston were added to the family in the summer of 2013.
Our mama is gone this morning......having a CT scan....and we are patiently waiting for her to get back home to us kitties.
We were asked about the tattoo yesterday.......it is a ladybug. Mama's nickname since she was a little shaver has been "The Bug" and in adulthood she is also called "mamabug" or "judibug."

I am frankly amazed that a tortie and a tortie-and-white girl can be such great friends! The cat before me was a calico, which is just a hair whiter and patchier than a tortie-and-white, and she and Binga did not like each other at all!
