This is Annie, from Lucy's Lounge, and she desperately needs our help. We are planning an auction for her on the Helping Our Needy Furiends blog....if you have items to donate, please email them to Marg at margaretmsan@gmail.com
and bless you for helping.
There is also a "chip-in" button on their blog and on ours if you could help....every little bit helps, you know.....:)
This is Annie's story in a nutshell and you can keep current with what is happening on their blog....see link above her picture:
"Her previous owners were going to take her to a shelter if they couldn't find a home for her before they moved on September 1st. We took her in hopes of finding her a home, and have decided this will be her forever home."
"Just one day after we brought her home, she started peeing blood. After several trips to the vet, a urinalysis and an x-ray, it was discovered she has stones."
"I've received several ideas and even some vets to call. I'll definitely be calling around starting Tuesday after the holiday weekend to try to find a cheaper vet. I really appreciate all the encouragement and info! I need to also look into somehow making some extra money but I'm not sure where to start."
"Although the blood seems to have abated considerably, Annie is still going to the litter box constantly. Other than that, she seems to feel well. She loves to play. She's also spending a little less time under the bed and isn't growling quite as much. Lucy and Simba have been wonderful."
Thank you for helping our friends......Lucy and Simba have been friends of ours for ages, and we're so happy to see Annie join their home.

We've been following Annie's story and hope her Mum's able to get quotes from other vets...are there animal organisations that subsidize veterinary fees? Especially for those recently "rescued" like Annie?
I am hoping that Annie's human can come up with a solution for this. Although we live in southern California, as does she, we are very far apart distance-wise, so I have not been able to come up with a good vet for her.
We hope you can find a lovely vet who can help. So much less intrusive to have keyhole. Sending hugs :)xxxxxxxxxx
Awww poor Lucy and mum!!! Oh dear!! Me and Charlie are sending them tons of purrs and hugs!
Take care

Poor Annie! We will purr that she is able to get her surgery soon and will get our Mom to donate to the auction and her chip-in
I really hope that Annie is able to have the EASIER version of the surgery.
We've been following Annie's story too, and have donated what we could to help. We have our paws crossed for her!
Annie is such a gorgeous girl and we will help out some later today. Thanks for sharing her story, I had not heard it yet.
Mom is going to donate some scarves to the auction...she has one completed and is working on another.

Poor Annie - we are pleased she seems to be settling well at Lucy's Lounge. We are going to help mum see if she anything for the auction and we are sure we'll manage to squeeze something from her purse soon!

Here's hoping Annie can get all the right treatments to be well again. We hope you all are doing fine, too. (Mom and I think about you often.)
We are sending purrs to sweet Annie@
Our Mom is checking something called PayPal for green papers. We would like to eat green papers, but she said 'No!'
Happy Wednesday..

We had Meowm pull some money from her account and get it headed to her paypal account. As soon as it gets there she will make a donation! And we are purring up a storm for her!
Purrrrring for Annie. We hope we can make a more subtansial contrubution in a few days.
In the mean time, a place called Speaking for Spot has a long list of places where Annie and her beans might be able to get some help. The requirements are all over the place, but odds are Annie will fit at least a couple groups requirements.
Good luck.
Awww...you guys are the sweetest, bestest friends! Thank you so much for posting this and for your help! I really appreciate your donation and your time!
Hugs,
Vicki (and Lucy, Annie & Simba)
We chipped in and put the chip in on our blog too! We know that the CB will all pitch in and make sure Annie gets the surgery she needs!!
