Sunday With Shelly

I love my mama's tummy scritches!!!!!!!!

We have been suffering from 3 digit
temperatures  for several days....
mama doesn't usually watch the temps
in the summer cuz says she feels cooler if
she doesn't know how hot it actually is!!!!!!!

Mama very seldom leaves the
house, but she had to go out on
some business Thursday about
5:30 and it was 102F/38C.

Then on Friday, we set a record
high of 104F/40C!!!!!!

Yesterday (Saturday) was 103....::sigh::

We're purraying for cooler temps!!!!!!!

PuRRRRRRRSSSSSSSS,

Shelly

We got that last summer ! !!! I wear damp cloth so many hours, Mom was lying on the floor, Dad and my human Sis had a cold shower every 15 min.
After that, we have AC. but we don't go out at all. We kept every door and window shut. No open the curtain.
I absolutely purrs for cold change for you !

OMC what miserable temperatures you are having and summer isn't even officially here yet....
Mom and Dad try to do all their outside activities early but even then it has been in the mid 80s and humid.

We are HOT here too, but only 9% humidity, which make a big difference! Shelly, we're glad you are indoors, keeping cool, and enjoying a great tummy rub.

BLEAH! That's too hot! Our temps have not been above 100 yet, unless you count the heat index. Miss Shelly, I LOVE tummy rubs, too! I'm the first cat who has owned my mom who likes it! With all the other cats, an exposed belly was just a trick that ended in bloods being spilled!

That is way too hot! My human thinks anything over about 85 is too hot--I can't imagine what she would say about that!

Wow, that is HOT! Do you have air conditioning? It was about 70F here today and I was sweltering - I can't even imagine three-digit temps!
