Is that the Marine Corps War memorial statue in Washington DC? Mom and Dad have special memories of it because that is where they had their first kiss and later where Dad gave Mom her engagement ring. A VERY MANY years ago.
I love this day for what it means. My mom told me and I have my tail straight and my eyes front and center in honor of our heroes.
