LAURYN UPDATE:
She is doing great....and is getting ready to
go watch her friend play in a water polo game!!!!!
She's taking Motrin instead of her pain medicine!!!!
The Yellow Rose
They say a yellow with long and thorny stem, stands for friendship's of which we may not amend.
They say its flower petals collect a human dew. One tear of gladness one of sorrow, in a light a sharing, to best pronounce its hue.
They speak of gardens as long as lifetimes, where many yellow roses grow.
Where we tread carefully, yet graciously, among the myriad of friends we know.
They say the paupers gardens, are where the hardiest flowers may be. For there they grow abundant both wild and free.
They also say, if I picked just one, and handed it to you my friend. It would mean a whole new garden for me!

We are delighted that Lauryn is feeling well enough to go and see the water polo game. We enjoyed Bob Morrow's "The Yellow Rose" - we didn't know this poem.

Yay, I am glad to hear that Lauryn is doing so well post-op! She must have had a good oral surgeon/ easily removable wisdom teeth or both.
I am fortunate - so far I have avoided needing a dental!
Mums very favourite flower is the yellow rose. Mum would much rather have them than red ones. A friend brought mum a yellow rose bush recently. Now thats wonderful news that Lauryn is doing ok and she will be so much better without those rogue teeth..Hugs GJ xx

Those girls bounce back so fast. We are so happy that she is feeling well. she should keep up the fluids and motrin to keep the swelling down so she does not get dry socket, which is a condition that develops after a few days and can be painful.
We are so happy that she got that done and done and now her beautful teeth will continue to stay that way with no crowding

That sounds like how my mom was when she had hers out years and years and years ago!
She khame home - took a little nap - then went to Auntie Di and Unkhle Paul's swim meet - then had hard pretzels and applesauce - and then babysat that night -
