Andy here: If you saw my video yesterday,
you know that I love my ham-mick.
We each received one a while back from our Auntie Deb
and couzins at The Taylor CatSSSSS.
Thank you, sweet darlins'.
Sammy is being Sammy!!!!!!!! He checked them out
and then went on about his business.
If he doesn't use it, we will put it out on the balcony
for sweet Shelly.
LATEST REPORT ON SHELLY: She has allowed....and
enjoyed....mama petting her a couple times, but only if the
balcony door is open only enough for mama to stick her
hand out. If the door is fully open Shelly gets scared and will leave.
Please keep purring/purraying for Shelly. Yesterday
morning Sammy and Shelly met face to face on the
balcony, and he didn't chase her off!!!!!
We consider this a total miracle, and it gives
us hope as Sammy isn't acting so territorial.
It didn't last long before Shelly jumped up on the fence
and did her tightrope escape up the tarp and onto the roof.
Sisterbean feels it was her fault cuz she
unintentionally startled Shelly. We can see
we are making some headway with Shelly.
Love and Purrs,
Andy

Paws up for the progress with Shelly! With shy kitties, it is necessary to take it v-e-r-y s-l-o-w!

We LOVE our ham-mick too!
I just know Shelly will come around. You have already made such wonderful progress with her! Just keep the faith
Your pal, Pip
I will purr that the progress continues and that soon you wwill be petting shelly and she will be comfortable with you.. I also love my hammick. Hugs GJ xx
Wow, your hammick looks real cool! Think we should try to persuade our human to make one. :)
Shelly will eventually respond to all the TLC you are giving her. From what I've heard it is a slow process to get a feral kitty to trust you but it is worth every minute,
Hugs Madi and Mom
Awwww beautiful Andy!! You look just precious on your hammick!! Yay!!!!!
Gorgeous Sammy!!! Me and Charlie love that you're being yourself! LOL!
Awwww we are purring for adorable Shelly!!! We hope her confidence grows but we think she knows she's very very safe with y'all!! Take care

Andy looks so adorable on his ham-mick! I love those pictures! Sammy is just so funny! He is checking that ham-mick out!
I think that Shelly is making great strides at being confident that you want to be her friend!
I really like your hamick. Good news about Shelly.
Such good news. I and mom have not forgotten sweet Shelly. ♥♥♥
We are sure Sammy will be straight on him hammick when the flashy box has been put away!!
What good news about your mom being able to pet Shelly through your balcony door and not running away from Sammy. Looks like you may be getting a sisfur - then the fun will start when she gets you two organised!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That's so exciting that you're making headway with Shelly! You are so patient with her - it sounds like she's come a long way already.

That is so exciting about Shelly. It won't take too long for Shelly to get used to you patting her. It just takes tons and tons of patience. Glad Sammy isn't trying to chase her any more. We can't wait to hear the next update. Have yourselves a happy Thurday.
Good for Shelly. Shy kitties are wonderful and they need lots of love too! They just don't know it.
This is great news re: Shelly!
Thank you for your care and words re: Annie's passing.
BTW, for some reason your blog posts aren't showing up in our Google Reader anymore, even though we follow you and added you. Kinda weird. Maybe just a Google glitch?
My Mother use to feed the feral cats and spay and neuter them too. She always had 8 or 10 around all the time. She died of a stroke and most of the cats that were outside left!! They knew!!!
I am on dial up and you have a lot on your blog...
The more you put on your blog the longer it takes to load. Today it took 40 minutes to load your words. I didn't get to see any pictures, I usually don't get to see all but today none.
I love your visits and do want to lose you sweet babies!!!!
xx, Happy cat and Bambi & Fern
I don't want to lose you sweeties!!!!!!
Sammy won't be able to resist the ham-mick forever...heh heh.
That's such good news about Shelly, we bet she was un-feral at one time and now she's wary of Humans. Tuna is a miracle worker for socializing...so is sliced deli meat!
Say, we miss your riddles, where did they go?
That is wonderful progress with Shelly - a little bit at a time, before long, she will be wanting to come inside. Great job!!!

We're glad Shelly is warming up to you!

Andy you look mighty fine atop your hammick...we can tell you love it. Maybe Sammy will realize what comfort he is missing soon and try his out. So glad to hear you are making headway with Shelly, thanks for the update on her. Hugs and nose kisses
I can't wait to hear that Shelly has come inside!! That will be wonderful! I still love those hammicks very much! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
Andy, I love my hammick too!! And it sounds like Shelley is trusting your mom more...I was like that too...I would run away from peoples...but then I learned that peoples could be nice.
