Andy misses his sweet Skeeter.....he has been reminiscing about last New Year's Eve and the great time they had together. He wanted to share this picture of them from last year.
SASS was originally started by Mama/JudiBug with two senior Texas dudes (Sammy and Andy) and later added two young sisfurs (Shelly and Sierra). Sammy ran off to the Bridge in May of 2012 and Andy April 2013. Our dear, sweet Mama/JudiBug passed in November of 2012, after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. TraciBug is now attempting to keep the blog going. Polli and Boston were added to the family in the summer of 2013.

That is a very beautiful picture, Andy. I think that's what New Year's Eve is all about... remembering those important to us and starting a new year, too.
pawhugs, Max
We agree with Max above. It is good to remember those whom we love and have lost, at New Year especially. But good also to move forward and enjoy each moment ... for none of us ever know what the future holds.
The remembrance pic is really beautiful.

Awwww...that made mom cry~!!! She's been really missing Skeeter during the holidays. Misses her underfoot in the kitchen...getting tangled in the Christmas tree lights...burying herself under piles of wrapping paper...and just her. Thank you so much for the lovely tribute and we know she watches over us AND you! You are such a wonderful bunch and we truly love you dearly! Hoping your 2011 is better than you 2010. We hope it is for us too!
Mommy said she accidentally went back to my page before doing the word verification. But she said how sweet the picture is. :-)

I'm wishing you guys a great year in 2011, may this be a brilliant year for us all.
We lost our Crystal this January so we are going into 2011 a bit sad for all the kitty and woofy friends we lost this year.
That's a beautiful picture! I am sure Skeeter is watching over all of you.
Thanks so much for your sweet message and for adding my fundraising pages to your facebook page! I had a facebook page, but they kicked me off (I guess they are cracking down on dogs on facebook!) so I have to use my mom's page now.
Your pal, Pip

Oh Wow what a beautiful artistic blog. Andy you have a beautiful picture for a wonderful memory. Thank you and Sammy for stopping by and visiting our blog. Ah yes, Missy Blue Eyes, she is the love of my life. Fell for her the minute I laid eyes on her over four years ago. Don't know why it took so long for me to ask her to be engaged to me.
Mom's brother bean lives in Smithville near Austin. In 1995 When I was a kitten she and Dad went on a dream vacation and visited him then and he took her down to San Antonio and she loved the River Walk. Also went to the Alamo and went to a great mexican restaurant for lunch. Daughter bean took care of me then.
Hope you have a great and blessed New Year.
Casper
