LIVESTRONG

Today, we applaud all cancer survivors.... and we purray for all that are suffering from this terrible disease and for the families that have lost loved ones to it.

Our family remembers Kelly today....the
always happy and smiling boy that was
taken from us too soon......
11/14/85 - 9/8/91

Kelly, mama's nephew, lost his battle before we
were born, but the family has told us so much
about him that we feel we knew him also.

He was diagnosed with Leukemia a couple months
before his 3rd birthday.  He fought valiently with
radiation and chemo treatments for nearly 3 years
before losing his battle.....in all that time, he
achieved remission once for a brief 6 week period.

We purray for a total cure for this terrible disease.

Sending many purrs and love to all,

Sammy, Andy and Judi

Oh, Sammy and Andy, please tell your mom I'm so sorry about your nephew. This is so sad. Thank you for sharing him with us. We really hope there will be a cure. We lost our dear cat, Pickles, to lymphoma about seven years ago.

Hope you're all having a nice weekend!

We are sorry that Kelly lost his fight against cancer. He looked to be a lovely little boy - losing one so young to the disease is so tragic.
We hope there will be a cure soon to stop all this needless suffering.

That is so sad about Kelly. I just hate hearing about young people or children having the disease. It just seems so unfair. Thanks for this great post.

I'm sorry to hear about Kelly. However, he will always be remembered. Cancer can only take away the body. It will never touch his spirit!

When cancer strikes down the young, whether humans or animals, it is especially awful. We are so sorry for your family for the loss of Kelly. We support contrinued research until stories like Kelly's no longer have to be told.

In memory, and in honor of all those who succumbed to cancer and all those who are living with it.

That is a lovely tribute to Kelly. It is very sad that he was taken so young.
We honour those who have survived cancer, and remember with sadness those who didn't.
