SASS was originally started by Mama/JudiBug with two senior Texas dudes (Sammy and Andy) and later added two young sisfurs (Shelly and Sierra). Sammy ran off to the Bridge in May of 2012 and Andy April 2013. Our dear, sweet Mama/JudiBug passed in November of 2012, after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. TraciBug is now attempting to keep the blog going. Polli and Boston were added to the family in the summer of 2013.
We are so excited and thankful for the excellent response we've had to our Kool Seniors Kitty Klub.....as of noon on Wednesday mama had made badges for the following senior kitties. We didn't realize there were so many of us!!!!!!!
If you're a senior kitty and haven't ordered your badge yet, please do...mama can whip one up in no time now!!!!! :)

Excellent job guys and mom! What a fabulous club this is too! Cricket could care less that she's too young, she's thrilled with the Naughty Kittie Club. That's because she IS norty!
Skeeter is sending Andy mega cuddles today. Mom had to postpone her V~E~T appt, for her leg and our submersible well water pump died and a new one was installed last night. The plumber said he's going to send the bill, so mom 's a little nervous as she has NO idea how much her and dad's bank account is gonna get whapped for. Mom's been giving Skeeter baby aspirin (which she HATES), seems to ease up the limp though. We think she's getting arthritis.
Mom is going to get a good picture of Mac's face and get him a badge. He is 9.

The badges remind me of stamps - especially the new stamps for Adopt a Shelter Pet from the post office. Wouldn't it be fun to be able to have the senior kitties badges made up into sheets of postage stamps?
