SASS was originally started by Mama/JudiBug with two senior Texas dudes (Sammy and Andy) and later added two young sisfurs (Shelly and Sierra). Sammy ran off to the Bridge in May of 2012 and Andy April 2013. Our dear, sweet Mama/JudiBug passed in November of 2012, after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. TraciBug is now attempting to keep the blog going. Polli and Boston were added to the family in the summer of 2013.
As we have probably told y'all before, our mama LOVES tulips but they won't grow here because it is too hot.......so we said we would share our post today with some tulips for her. Clicking on picture should show a larger view. :)

Gorgeous tulips! We have them here, it's certainly not too hot, but they've yet to come into bloom. Ottawa, the capital of Canada, is well-known for its tulip festival in May. :-)
Our Mom just LOVES Tulips also! They are her favorite flower too.

Sammy and Andy you boys know the way to a lady's heart!!! Good job delivering her most favorite flower to her today. There are lots of tulips in bloom in Raleigh. Some of them even have ruffly edges on the flower petal...so many colors too.

Tulips on tuesday...what a great post! We love tulips too, but don't have any planted. I think they would grow at least in the spring here, but have never tried. They are very pretty though.

You should take your mom to Holland ! it's the land of tulips and they will all start to bloom in about a month. I will go there and have a look at the biggest tulip field !

Where I live, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, we have a Tulip Festival every year. The original tulip bulbs were donated by the Queen of the Netherlands after we sheltered her during WWII. There are tulips all over the place, here. You should come and visit sometime. May is prime time for them.
Beautiful!! We have tulips here...and they are very nice...we just wish they lasted longer than they do!
Tulips are very beautiful, but they don't have fur, and don't purr. So we prefer you. But your mama may want to visit the Keukenhof some day.
Our Auntie plants tulips, plus the older bulbs bloom, but sthe deer always eat them all up. And next year, Auntie will still plant some more! :0)
