Slainte'

Happy St. Patrick's Day. We have never been to Ireland, but our mama has been there several times. She even resided there for a year.....while recuperating from an extended illness and several operations.

Here's mama having some craic in a pub in Dublin. It's pronounced "crack," but has an entirely different meaning in Ireland.......the closest English interpretation would be "fun."

Musicians come and go as they join others for what we would probably call a "jam session." What craic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mama says this pub in Downtown Dublin is very popular and most importantly, it's across the street in a catty-corner fashion from The Alamo Cafe!!!!!! That's a big deal for her cuz we live in The Alamo City, and we have a very popular chain of restaurants here named The Alamo Cafe!!!!

Slainte and Slan,

Sammy and Andy

Thanx for sharing some Ireland info. Mom's NAME is Irish, but she's not, our Dad is though, partially. She really sould love to go to ireland but she doubts she ever will and she HATES to fly. She would need some serious sedation for that. Anyhoo, Happy St. Paddy's Day to you and Skeeter is sending Andy some Shamrock Kissies!

Happy St. Patrick's Day. I really like the Irish Proverb. It is so true too. I have known a few people who don't like cats and I would have to say all of those people had serious flaws.
I loved the picture. It looked like your mama was having a wonderful time.

I always say there's a little bit of Irish in everyone -- especially on St. Paddy's Day. Seems like your mom is more than just a little bit green!
