SASS was originally started by Mama/JudiBug with two senior Texas dudes (Sammy and Andy) and later added two young sisfurs (Shelly and Sierra). Sammy ran off to the Bridge in May of 2012 and Andy April 2013.
Our dear, sweet Mama/JudiBug passed in November of 2012, after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. TraciBug is now attempting to keep the blog going.
Polli and Boston were added to the family in the summer of 2013.
Sammy Says: Last night they decided to decorate the tree.....we couldn't find Andy, so I had to do ALL the snoopervising.
He's a typical kid.....crawls off in one of his hidey holes when there's work to be done, but bet he'll be the first one here to play with all these tempting goodies!!!! I have my eye on some of these already, but didn't want to get caught on camera!!!!!
We have been missing for a few days.... we had the "turkey day" thing, but mostly we were missing cuz our bean was quite under the weather. Arthur (arthritis) comes to visit her quite often and sometimes he demands all her time.
Thankfully she is feeling somewhat better so is going to try to get us back in our routine by Monday.
SAMMY SAYS: Hey, Andy, it's starting to look like Thanksgiving around here. The bird is out of the freezer and in the fridge thawing.
ANDY SAYS: It sure does. Did you know Kbean, is packing because her daddy will pick her up this afternoon so she can spend the rest of her school vacation with him? I'll miss her, but maybe it's a good thing, cuz that will mean more bird for us!!!! *kbean is the youngest grandbean*
SAMMY SAYS: Our bean is always fussing that I won't pose for her, so today I decided to be nice to her!!! After all the grand beans are home on Thanksgiving Week holiday, so we may need our bean to run interference for us.
ANDY SAYS: I'm kinda happy they're home......Kbean gave me a mousie this morning....and I don't even mind that it's PINK!!!!! The shocker for me is that our bean finally got a good picture of Sammy!!!!!

We're pretty well recuperated from our party, but will be napping a lot today in preparation for Skeeter's 13th birthday party tomorrow.

Thank you to all who came to my birthday bash yesterday. I had been really dreading getting another year older, but it was definitely worth it. It looked like everyone that came had fun.
I have to admit, I'm totally tuckered out today, though...and I think I had too much nip yesterday!!!!! My floof all seems to be standing on end today!!!!!!! Mombean says I really look rough!!!!!
And Andy has crawled off behind the curtains to recuperate too.
We both wish you a totally pawsome Sunday.....it's our sisterbean's birthday today, but no celebration. We think she doesn't want anyone to know she's 40-something....MOL.... and we're just too tuckered out to do any celebrating today!!!!!!
Mombean's brain seems to have gone out for breakfast without her this morning and she couldn't think of a thing to post on our blog. We knew it was because she was having another of her blond moments!!!!!
While she was doing some surfing trying to think of what to post for us, she came across Tessa. We suppose she'll be trying to get us to eat with a fork and/or chopsticks now....sigh......

Not much happening at our house today, and it's been a while since we've given y'all a neighborhood report....so here are a few things we found this morning.
Jake has made his will but now isn't sure he wants to sign it!!! Unfortunately we know we aren't named in it. :(
Cute lil' ol' Suzy Q is getting "beautified" with a shampoo and new "do" this morning. We're wondering who she has a date with tonight.
Peanut has his grill going already this morning. It looks and smells soooooooo good. We have our paws crossed that we will get an invite.
Peanut's sister, Petunia, says she's going to get some revenge with the flashy thing today. We can't wait to see the results!!!!
And it appears that Vanilla is thinking about some flashy stuff revenge, also. Or is she sitting there waiting for the flashy thing to flash??
Little Owen is practicing his shadow boxing today. He says someday he wants to be a boxer...We keep telling him he's a cat and a boxer is a breed of dog!!!!
